WHAT INSPIRED YOUR NEW COLLECTION?
Every single one of One1nMind's models is inspired by something or someone that matters to one of us. That's the sole reason why every one of our products has its own unique name. Let's, for example, take the COPA T-shirt. It is a limited edition extended shirt that is dedicated to the oldest international soccer tournaments in the world. This year we mark a century since the beginning of that very tournament - Copa America Centenario.
On the other side, some models are already familiar to our customers, because we decided to bring the 'summer versions' of some of our bestseller models - like the Light Ronin.
Every single product we create has a cool story behind it and everyone can easily get involved by browsing through our online store and simply press the "Story" button right next to the selected piece of clothing. Our fashion collections follow a certain minimalistic style, but in the end of the day, if you ask what kind of clothing brand we can present ourselves as, I would have to say we are a proud member of the urban clothing companies. Our clothes and designs are created by and for the everyday citizen. We want to offer both sensational and physical comfort to our customers.
WHAT KIND OF MATERIALS DO U USE IN CREATING THE CLOTHES?
Every company that you approach will tell you for sure that it uses "the best" possible resources and, obviously, of the highest quality. So let's say we do things following that concrete model, but to make sure promise and reality meet in between, every fabric/material gets through a series of tests that stand as solid proof that in fact what we say could be taken as the truth. We use various type of textile, it's mostly what our designers see. Ideas pop in their head and we do our best to bring them to life.
We have used textile neoprene, fleeces, tricot, wadding, eco-leather and many, many more. We don't implement animal leather.
SO WHAT IS NEW IN THE SS016 COLLECTION? WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?
In this particular one we tried to make new, adjusted, higher quality versions of our bestseller models from the previous collections and we also added a few new models as well.
What was different? Well... the materials used, the designs and yeah I think saying that there is a lot of difference to be found by simply taking a glimpse at all the products from both collections
is indeed what we managed to do. We are kind of proud in the tricot we managed to get for the design of these clothes, because of just how neat and light in its sense of feeling it is when you wear it in the hot summer days, but it the same time it is very durable so your clothes stay sharp after being worn for a long time. We optimised all of our men clothing as well, in terms of fitting, now all sizer feel much more comfortable. They are also some new, unorthodox designs that we brought to light, which are meant to be used as a cool everyday outfit for the season, and why not even after, you know, if the weather allows it :P. We believe our clothes differ quite a bit from most of the stuff you see on the market/in the stores and it is very important that you stay different from the average competitor.
WHAT IS IT IN YOUR STYLE THAT YOU CHERISH THE MOST?
Our main idea is to bring our customers something more than a piece of well-shaped material that actually looks good on them. Right now, the market is filled with some pretty good pieces of clothing and, for sure, some pretty bad ones as well. We know certain companies play the game of monopoly and basically mass produce a bunch of low quality, not so comfortable products, but the fact is just they do not really get into it that much.
That's an attitude that is in fact very easily distinguishable and it is not how we believe something as beautiful as creating clothes should be approached. Comfort is not something that should be sacrificed in any circumstances. Then, on another side they are some companies that strictly create very reasonable products in terms of being high quality, but their style is way off. To not name certain products, I will just give a plain example using a pair of rubber shoes.
You know they are very practical and very stable, but they seem so out of fashion in an everyday scenario that it is probably utter nonsense to go with them to let’s say... a job interview :)
What we are trying to do is to bring in some healthy balance - balance between quality, comfort and style.
WHAT IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE FOR THE NEW COLLECTION?
Separating people in terms of age, gender, religious beliefs, etc. is something that belongs to the past and we do not like our products to be a separation tool of any kind.
Buy since you asked, yes we are doing what we do for a certain type of people. Our products are for people that are alive. Everyone who is energetic, creative, motivated to live is someone who would enjoy the style we are presenting.
It is simply that inner power of theirs that our clothes help bringing out to the world. Our style elegantly underlines such a person's strength and beauty. So I guess that is the answer to the question.
WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION TO KEEP LIVING AND CREATE HERE IN BULGARIA?
I would like to believe that The "family “of 1inmind consists of people that I just described above. Every single one of us has made a clear choice a while back in the past to just get back here from abroad, start working hard and eventually with a little bit of luck we will be able to stand tall and be able to do what we love to do and most importantly do it without any shenanigans or corruption. It sounds like the idealist's thoughts or something, but you know, here we are just 'plain simple' and trying to break a concrete wall by bumping our heads into it. Our heads are tough though and I imagine we are going to break it down eventually.
All the funny painted pictures aside, I believe our country is going through one of its toughest times in so many aspects and we need to be stone persistent at the moment and nothing less, just because most factors (affecting a start-up) do not play in our favour and obviously they are so many huge companies that have been doing this line of work for so long that they just are absolutely huge and full of resources. Well, we are people of the modern time though and we stay firmly positive that we can get the job done.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE CURRENT FASHION TENDENCIES AND DO YOU THINK YOU ARE A PART OF THEM?
Modern tendencies are nothing more than a marketing trick, simple as that. They are, for the most part an advertisement and they simply can be viewed as guidelines on how maybe we can match up some different pieces of clothing together so you can get "THE OUTFIT". What we believe is that your clothes should
be comfortable, stylish and be of highest possible quality. Fashion tendencies bring in constraints. Yet, constraints, are not necessarily a bad thing, but they absolutely could become if the space between those constraints is not enough :)
WHICH MARKETS HAS 1INMIND REACHED?
It is very hard to just list every country we sell in, we are an online store and we deliver our products in more than 70 countries in the whole wide world. Germany and the countries from Scandinavia are at the top of our list in terms of deliveries at the moment I believe.
DO YOU HAVE A CONCEPT BUILT FOR THE AW016 COLLECTION?
We are currently working very hard on the new winter/autumn collection and quality and comfort as usual is what our bets are on. We will bring some new fresh models out there and the rest I want to save for the big moment when we announce it. Can't allow the spoilers right now :D
WHO IS BEHIND THE MASK OF THE TRAILBLAZER?
Hahaha, there is no way we expose the identity of The Trailblazer :) I will only give a small hint: it is the same guy in all the shots :)
